E-Brakes by ADI
E-Brakes – For the ultimate in wheelchair braking, “E-Brakes” utilizes a patented electrically actuated brake system to lock both wheels simultaneously. The brake system is activated by a single toggle switch located conveniently on the chair frame, thus getting the brake lever “out of the way" during transfers.
"E-Brakes" can be adapted to fit most rigid style chairs, and although it was originally designed for users with limited upper extremity strength, it has been used by many who simply want the best in wheelchair disc brake technology. This is the ideal system for the active quadriplegic user, specifically the cervical 5-6 levels.
